more studies



I had so much fun playing in ZBrush yesterday that I decided to do a little more today so here’s a rock and another tree study I did. Sculpting was done in ZBrush. Texturing for the rocks was done using tileable diffuse, spec and normal maps I created using nDo2, a really awesome Photoshop plugin and then lighting and rendering was done using VRay and Maya again. For the tree I used xNormal to pull a normal map from my sculpt and applied that in Maya, together with a spec map and a tileable diffuse map.

I haven’t had much need or time for sculpting lately so I thought it would be fun to do a little ZBrush action today.
Here’s the result….sculpting was done using ZBrush, texturing was done using Mudbox and lighting/rendering was done using VRay and Maya.
